How the motorcycle intercom evolved
Talking on a motorcycle has always been limited by riding itself: wind noise, the engine, the helmet. Technical answers came step by step. FreedConn grew in that context, to put this technology within reach.

The CB radio era
Radio waves made bike-to-bike conversation possible over longer distances, at the cost of dedicated and often bulky equipment on the machine.

Bluetooth, then Mesh
Wireless shrank the components and moved communication into the helmet. Mesh builds dynamic networks so a group can ride without dropouts.

FreedConn: what we do today
We build electronic communication systems for motorcyclists and cyclists, for city riding as much as for sport. The current range answers three distinct needs.
Bluetooth and Mesh communication
Our intercoms use Bluetooth 5.1 and dynamic Mesh technology, as on the FX and R3 series, to connect several riders over distances that vary with the model: up to 1,000 metres of theoretical range in open ground.
Video integration
Some models carry a built-in 2K camera to record rides, for safety as much as for the pleasure of watching them back.
Audio processing
Our devices rely on digital signal processing, DSP and CVC, to keep calls and music clear in a noisy environment, paired with speakers designed to sound right inside a helmet.

Our footprint around the world
Research centres in Jiangxi, Heyuan and Dongguan, brands established across international markets, a strong presence in South America. FreedConn France handles official distribution for Europe, with warranty and service from France.
